price plans as part of the Baltimore Gas & Electric Gas Options program
Choosing the price plan that’s best for you doesn’t have to be difficult. Maryland EnergySM offers competitive variable and fixed price plans – backed by straightforward terms and conditions of service and designed to meet customers’ individual needs.
The price for the 12-Month Fixed Plan is $0.659/therm
If you choose our 12-Month Fixed Plan, you will be billed at a fixed price per therm for the length of the plan. This fixed price plan gives you the peace of mind of knowing exactly what you will pay for the gas you use over the 12-month period of your plan. The plan requires a 12-month commitment. Therefore, if you terminate the plan prior to its scheduled expiration date, Maryland Energy will assess you an early termination charge of $100 for residential customers or $250 for commercial customers if you terminate your plan more than six months prior to its expiration, or $50 for residential customers and $125 for commercial customers if you terminate your plan fewer than six months prior to its expiration (up to 45 days prior to the expiration of your plan).
The price for the 6-Month Fixed Plan is $0.659/therm
If you choose our 6-Month Fixed Plan, you will be billed at a fixed price per therm for the length of the plan. This fixed price plan gives you the peace of mind of knowing exactly what you will pay for the gas you use over the 6-month period of your plan. The plan requires a 6-month commitment. Therefore, if you terminate the plan more than 45 days prior to its expiration date, Maryland Energy will assess you an early termination charge of $50 for residential customers and $125 for commercial customers.
The current price for the Variable Plan is $0.599/therm
With our Variable Plan, gas service is billed at a competitive price per therm that may change based on market conditions. No contract is required with our Variable Plan.
